Erin M. Floyd, Ph.D., LLC
I counsel children, adolescents, adults, and families from all walks of life with a wide range of presenting issues.
I specialize in stress and anger management, anxiety, grief and loss, depression, parenting, life coaching, spirituality, behavior problems, ADHD, OCD, eating disorders, trauma, PTSD, and assisting with health psychology issues such as management of chronic pain and helping individuals adhere to medical treatment protocols (e.g., post surgery, cancer, diabetes, and cystic fibrosis).
I also have specialized training in clinical child, pediatric, and family therapy, including sub-specializations in parent management training and treatment targeted for preschoolers and young children with disruptive behavior.
However, my capabilities go beyond these practice areas, and I will gladly try to help you with other difficulties you may have.
"I have known Dr. Floyd since we completed our postdoctoral fellowships together at the Medical College of Georgia. I have continued to collaborate with her in a professional capacity on various cases and projects since that time. I am consistently impressed with her clinical insight and skills. If I, as a fellow clinical psychologist, found myself in need of psychological intervention, I would hope to find another as capable and compassionate as Dr. Floyd."
